Ministry ("the App") is a church scheduling assistant. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• Member names you enter (used to filter church schedules)
• Personal duty reminders you create
• Notification preferences
• Appearance settings

Data Sent to Our Server

The App connects to a Supabase backend to:

• Fetch church schedule data (read-only)
• Fetch church event data (read-only)
• Submit bug reports (reporter name and description you provide)
• Send anonymous app usage logs for diagnostics

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, location data, or any other personally identifiable information beyond what you voluntarily enter.

Notifications

The App may request permission to send local notifications to remind you of upcoming duties. No notification data is sent to external servers.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Supabase for backend services. No other third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are included.

Data Retention

Local data is stored on your device and can be deleted by removing the App. Server-side bug reports and logs are retained for up to 90 days.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
